Using our automated technology, as soon as you complete the signup process, you’ll have access to your personalized dashboard. From there, we’ll have a couple of on-boarding steps for you to complete to ensure that we have everything we need to get started. Once you complete the on-boarding steps, you’ll see the full power of our (mobile-friendly) Dashboard with all our checklists, guides, resources, and much more to make the pet import process easy.

Since there are quite a few steps that must be completed, and some of them require a waiting period between them, we recommend starting the checklist 4 months before you plan to travel internationally or 2 months before domestic travel so you don’t run out of time. Don’t worry; if you already have some stuff done, you’ll get to mark those tasks complete immediately. We will keep track of the timeline for you and send you essential update emails and weekly digest e-mails with anything due soon. We will leave your personalized dashboard open until 1 week after you travel, so don’t worry about starting the process early.

Traveling already has its own challenges. Traveling with a pet is even more challenging. And with the severe consequences of getting it wrong, why wouldn’t you hire an expert consultant? We provide you with up-to-date requirements, steps, forms, and documents to ensure you meet all the pet import requirements. We also provide you with our detailed resource guides and lessons learned from our own travels regarding things like how to measure your pet for a pet crate, how to crate train your pet, and how to help your pet settle in after arrival in your new destination.

All of our clients will get a personalized dashboard with checklists, resource pages, guides, and links to all relevant forms and documents. Some packages have additional benefits, including arrival information, research requests, pet flight bookings, paperwork review, or other specialized services. In any case, we will provide you with everything you need to import your pet to the United States or travel domestically.

Traveling to Guam or Hawaii is very complicated as there are a lot of particular legal requirements to ensure they remain rabies-free. Since this is the case, we recommend you purchase our services at least 5 months before your travel date. We want to ensure that we have enough time to walk you through each step of the process to ensure that we meet all of the requirements. Many of these requirements are written into law, and there can be substantial fines, jail time, or lengthy quarantine if not followed correctly.

Puerto Rico has specific requirements that must be met for entry with your pet(s). One of these requirements is that your pet(s) cannot originate from a country at high risk for rabies. There are additional specific requirements for Puerto Rico that must be completed before arrival, or your pet(s) will be quarantined or denied entry. We’ll review each of these steps with you in greater detail to ensure that you meet them.

We try to make it easy for you, but there will be some steps that you’ll need to do with your pet to prepare them for travel. We won’t be taking Fluffy to the vet for you. But we’ll give you all of the information on what to do and when. We’ll even provide you with the forms you must bring to your vet to fill out. Our premium package also includes several tasks that we’ll complete for you, such as filling out and submitting forms on your behalf, reviewing all of your paperwork before travel, and even calling the airline to add your pet to the flight.

Our secure system will take your payment as part of the signup process. We accept most major credit cards. We do not store your credit card information after the payment, and we’ll send you a receipt for your records. After completing payment, you’ll immediately have access to your personalized dashboard and will be able to get started with the on-boarding process.

We have three pricing tiers depending on the details of your travels and how much of our assistance you want. We cover more details on our pricing tiers here so you can select the plan that best meets your travel needs.

We’ve always preferred to know that our pets leave and arrive with us, so we’ve never been fans of pet shipping services. Instead, we provide you with the step-by-step process to travel with your pet, either in the cabin, as excess baggage, or as cargo. There are professional shipping services out there if you are interested in that, but that’s not what we’re all about.

Although the rules vary a lot between airlines, there are common restrictions on snub-nosed (brachycephalic) or “dangerous breed” dogs, some cats, and most exotic pets. There are also often weight and size limits before a pet cannot travel in the cabin or as excess luggage and must travel as cargo. Our airline-specific resource guide, located within your personalized dashboard, will review these restrictions so that you can determine which airline may be best suited to fly your pet(s). Note, though, that some pets may not be able to be flown on any airline and may need to be transported another way.

Although additional restrictions exist on what airlines and where you can travel with them, we cover those details in our airline-specific and state/territory-specific resource guides. Our resource guides include information on other animals, such as measuring your pet and crate for various animals, including reptiles, hamsters, and rabbits.

We currently only provide import services into the United States and between US states. We are currently focusing on just one country to ensure you have the best possible and most- up-to-date experience. Since there are three federal agencies, 55 state or territory agencies, and 105 airlines that all have different requirements, keeping up with them takes a lot of time. We may expand to additional countries in the future as we have extra time and resources to ensure that we can continue to provide the same high-quality service people have come to expect from us.

Although we have made our website accessible in multiple languages, your personalized dashboard is only available in English. This includes our checklists, resources, information pages, forms, and documents. Also, note that all of the forms that must be submitted to US agencies during this process must also be completed in English or translated using a certified translation service.

Since you will immediately get access to your personalized portal with all of our resources, checklists, and guides after you complete on-boarding, we, unfortunately, cannot offer refunds once you complete the on-boarding process. We want you to be satisfied with our services, so if there is anything we can do to fix a problem, you can click “Need Help?” on every page of your personalized dashboard to let us know what’s wrong.

We take your privacy very seriously and only use trusted vendors to ensure the protection and security of your data. Our Terms & Conditions specify what you can expect from us and, in turn, what we should expect from you.

We’ve worked really hard to try to answer all of your questions before you need to ask them. We’ve included every question that we’ve needed to ask during our travels. But, maybe you have a question that we didn’t think of. We have an easy help desk function on every page within our dashboard to ask additional questions. We track all of your questions and allow you to see the status of your requests. And, if you have some specialized research question, our premium package includes a research service, which could include anything from “Is my favorite dog food available in Topeka, Kansas?” to “Where is the best dog park in Chicago, Illinois?”
